‘At this point, establishment Democrats are dead’: Joe Concha

.

Washington Examiner columnist Joe Concha argued that democratic socialists are winning elections because their organization’s fundraising and unity outweighs establishment Democrats

“Their organization is much more cohesive, raises a lot more money than establishment Democrats. At this point, establishment Democrats are dead as far as at least blue city races,” Concha said on Fox News’s Jesse Watters Primetime Friday.

“Slowly and surely, socialists are taking over blue cities throughout this country.”

However, Concha argued that democratic socialist ideologies will not resonate in swing states like Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina, and Georgia.

“If they want to put up a Mamdani, or an AOC, or somebody from the very, very far-left to run for president in 2028, they may lose 51 states, which mathematically is impossible, but that may happen,” Concha said.

Concha argued that democratic socialists like New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s efforts to create free childcare and public transportation are not sustainable.

“How do you pay for that stuff? Oh, that’s right, you tax billionaires,” Concha said.

Concha highlighted billionaires like Ken Griffin and Jeff Bezos are pulling their businesses out of states like New York.

“Once that revenue leaves the state, leaves the socialists, as Margaret Thatcher once said, ‘The problem with socialism is you eventually run out of other people’s money,’ and that’s what’s going to happen here,” Concha said.

“We [Republicans] know how to handle an economy, and obviously they [democratic socialists] don’t.”
