The filmmakers behind Jesus Revolution are releasing the official trailer for their next film about a true-life story that displays the role of faith and miracles when “a community rallies and comes together to help” another.

The new film Ordinary Angels, which will feature two-time Academy Award winner Hilary Swank and Reacher star Alan Ritchson, explores the story of a struggling hairdresser in small-town Kentucky who sets out to help a widower as he pursues a liver transplant for his youngest daughter amid a devastating snow storm.

FAITH-BASED FILM SUCCESSES ENCOURAGE JESUS REVOLUTION PRODUCER: ‘THERE’S A HUNGER FOR IT’

Producer Kevin Downes told the Washington Examiner that he hopes the film inspires people to “not just talk about how we can love our neighbor, but actually show how we can love our neighbor in ways that put others in front.”

“I’m hoping that this kind of gives an example of what one community did in the face of extraordinary circumstances, and how they rallied together and lifted each other up,” Downes added. “We could use a lot more of that, I think, in our society, and our communities, and neighborhoods.”
