The ICC is just another corrupt, anti-American global institution

Much like the United Nations, the International Criminal Court is an antisemitic, anti-American organization that deserves endless mockery and scrutiny, not any form of American legitimacy.

The ICC is considering filing charges against Israeli leaders for defending the country against Hamas terrorists and seeking to eliminate the terrorist group once and for all. It would be an utterly despicable decision in keeping with the tradition of globalist institutions singling out Israel for criticism.

Both Israeli and U.S. leaders are warning against the ICC taking this path, but rather than offer any sort of introspection for why it and the rest of the United Nations is rotted to its core by antisemitism and authoritarian sympathizing, the ICC has the gall to declare all criticism of it to be illegal. “When individuals threaten to retaliate against the Court,” the ICC said in a statement, it “may also constitute an offense against the administration of justice under Art. 70 of the Rome Statute.”

This is not a first offense for the ICC. When Donald Trump was president, the court went after American troops with a biased investigation of military conduct in Afghanistan while also shrugging at China’s litany of human rights abuses, including its genocide of the Uyghurs in Xinjiang. The ICC has proven itself to be a political organization, scared to pursue anything “difficult,” such as an investigation of China, but happy to run over countries that actually respect human rights in order to prove a point.

The ICC is a joke in the same way that the U.N. and all its corrupt organs are a joke. Both sell out free and fair countries while taking the side of authoritarians, terrorists, or both, giving them more influence than they deserve over any international organization, much less ones focused on justice or human rights. President Joe Biden may not have the spine, but there is no doubt that bringing warrants against Israeli leaders should result in American sanctions on the ICC.

The ICC deserves no American legitimacy or collaboration so long as it remains the political tool of anti-American, antisemitic bureaucrats. Much like the U.S., it should have no role in American foreign policy other than as an object of mockery and criticism.
