The Left shows once again that it is willing to stoop so low as to weaponize the tragic death of a child against its political opponents.
On Feb. 7, a 16-year-old girl named Dagny Benedict got in an ugly fight with three older high school girls in a bathroom at Owasso High School in Oklahoma that left her battered and bloody. She went to a local hospital and was later released that evening. The next day, she suddenly collapsed and eventually died.
Benedict identified as non-binary and went by the name “Nex.” Her family has accused her assailants of discrimination because of this self-identification. In the two following weeks, discrimination has still not been cited by law enforcement or any other verifiable evidence as the cause of the school fight, and they do not even know if the fight was the direct cause of death.
This fact did not stop the LGBT horde from pouncing on this ripe opportunity to stir political sympathy for themselves. It has descended on the state of Oklahoma, which has been pursuing policies that protect children from woke indoctrination in schools. In particular, it rushed to blame Chaya Raichik, who uses the X account LibsofTikTok.
Professional creep and transgender activist TikTok user Jeffery Marsh implied that Benedict’s death was Raichik’s fault, and warned against giving conservatives a voice, saying, “These gestures, these far-right attacks, these elevations of anti-trans folks have deadly consequences.” In defending a “non-binary” person, he misgendered Benedict by implying that she was transgender.
Failed Democratic congressional candidate for Florida Rebekah Jones also took to TikTok to slander Raichik as a “far-right terrorist” and failed to pronounce her name in the process. She ends her video by inciting violence against Raichik, telling her radical audience, “You know what to do.” Not a stranger to threatening people, Jones was charged with cyberstalking and sexual cyberharassment after blackmailing a former lover with revenge porn.

Leftist activists have gone after Raichik regarding her activities in Oklahoma for the past year. In August, she publicized an elementary school librarian in Tulsa proudly posting herself on TikTok who explicitly announced her devotion to pushing the woke agenda. There was a bomb threat identified in Tulsa shortly thereafter, and the legacy media blamed Raichik for it. They were further infuriated when she was appointed to Oklahoma’s library advisory committee.
As it always does, the Left refuses to have any sort of intellectual integrity and would rather politicize and exploit children for its own malicious purposes of attacking conservatives and pushing forward destructive LGBT policies.
