On Aug. 26, the country recognized Women’s Equality Day. It was a date to commemorate the adoption of the 19th Amendment, which granted women the legal right to vote nationwide. The amendment was ratified on Aug. 18, 1920. President Richard Nixon was the first to issue a proclamation declaring Aug. 26 as Women’s Equality Day, a tradition the Biden administration followed. However, unlike Nixon, President Joe Biden and his administration have difficulty acknowledging and defining what a woman is.

“On Women’s Equality Day, we honor the pioneering suffragists who persisted through decades of struggle to finally win American women the right to vote, and we celebrate the advocates and everyday heroes who have continued the long march for equality ever since,” the White House’s proclamation read. “On this day, we recommit to delivering a better future for all of America’s daughters and for our nation. My administration is committed to realizing the promise of the suffragists, who knew that equality begins at the ballot box and requires women to have a seat at the table.”

But while the proclamation stated women deserve a “seat at the table,” how will they know who is sitting there? This is also the administration that has difficulty defining what a woman is. It has also supported the idea that men should be able to take opportunities away from women and compete in their sports leagues. So, which is it? Women deserve a seat at the table, or can men take those seats away whenever they feel like declaring they are women? The Biden administration cannot have it both ways.

Consider some of the posts on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Saturday from Biden’s account.

“Ensuring that every woman and girl has that chance isn’t just the right thing to do — it’s also a strategic imperative that advances the prosperity, stability, and security of our nation and the world,” Biden wrote.

“Every American is guaranteed a better future when women and girls can reach their full potential,” another one of Biden’s posts read. This was a particularly disingenuous post considering the public statements and efforts taken by the Biden administration to stop women from achieving their potential. They have worked to make it possible for men to say suddenly they are women and take opportunities away that were set aside specifically for females.

Furthermore, let’s not forget that Biden nominated the first person in the history of the Supreme Court who could not define what a woman was. Biden and the left-wing accomplices in his administration have arguably taken more action to hamper women’s opportunities than any presidential administration in the last 100 years. No one should believe they truly support women when they proactively demonstrate they haven’t.

It’s illogical to claim support for the radical and extremist farce that men can claim they are women but then supposedly champion female equal opportunity. Only the Biden administration could arrive at such disingenuous nonsense, and only left-wing Democratic supporters would be foolish enough to believe it.
