Classified documents are not the only things that have allegedly been stored at former President Donald Trump‘s Mar-a-Lago resort, as antiques from the Middle East have also reportedly been stored in the South Florida complex.
Several antiques from Israel, loaned to the White House nearly four years ago, have ended up at Mar-a-Lago, and Israeli authorities are trying to retrieve them, per a report from the Israeli newspaper Haaretz.

The antiques reportedly include ancient ceramic oil lamps that the outlet claims are part of the country’s national treasures collection. The antiques were shipped to the United States for a Hanukkah event at the White House in 2019, while Trump was in office, but were not displayed due to “bureaucratic difficulty.”
The items were not returned in a timely manner due to COVID-19 and other distractions, according to the report. The items were allegedly part of the items moved to Mar-a-Lago from the White House when Trump left office in 2021.
Other items transferred to Trump’s residence included allegedly classified materials, for which the former president has been charged in federal court. A key hearing is scheduled in the classified documents court case for Tuesday in Florida, where the matter of how the allegedly classified materials at the center of the case will be handled. Trump was arraigned for the charges in a federal courthouse in Miami last month.
