Death threats from ‘TDS’ song show it’s ‘about the right thing’: Natasha Owens

.

American Christian singer and songwriter Natasha Owens said she has received death threats following the release of her new single, “TDS (feat. Alex Stein #99),” but views the backlash as evidence that the song is striking a chord.

Owens said that while the threats are troubling, the strong reaction reinforces her belief that “it’s a situation that is so funny that I thought we just need to poke in that direction.”

“If we don’t get death threats, we’re not singing about the right thing,” Owens said on Real America’s Voice’s Stinchfield Tonight.

Owens posted her interview on X Friday. Her song, “TDS,” otherwise known as “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” was released June 5.

The AI-generated music video bashed the Left, and the chorus said, “You got that TDS, you tested positive. There’s nothing I can do for chronic low IQ, it’s TDS.”

Owens told host Grant Stinchfield that Democrats are “loons” who “melt down” when they hear President Donald Trump’s name.

“They’re vile, they’re vicious, they’re demonic,” Owens said.

Owens said she sees examples every day on her social media of Democrats “losing their minds” over her content and music.

She said the point of the song was to “give a little bit of truth, give an anthem for us to kind of make fun of them.”

Democrats “can just be so out of touch with reality that something like this was really fun to make,” Owens said.

Owens mentioned that fans should look out for more work from her.

“There were so many people that have TDS that we couldn’t fit them all in this video, so we are actually creating a version with politicians and media as well and calling them out,” Owens said.

The song is available for purchase through Apple Music.
