During a campaign rally in Philadelphia on Monday night, billionaire Oprah Winfrey warned the crowd about the country’s future if Vice President Kamala Harris did not win the election against former President Donald Trump. The former talk show host cautioned that if voters did not turn out to support the vice president on Election Day, it could be the last time they ever cast a ballot.
“If we don’t show up tomorrow, it is entirely possible that we will not have the opportunity to ever cast a ballot again,” Winfrey said.
Winfrey did not elaborate on this. However, there is nothing factual to suggest that, regardless of who wins the election, it will be the last chance for anyone voting in this year’s election to “ever cast a ballot again.” It might be something Winfrey believes but there is nothing truthful about such a claim.
Winfrey continued about the importance of voting in the election today and suggested that people should do everything possible to help friends and family members get to the polls.
“And let me be very clear, if you do not make sure the people in your life can get to the polls, that is a mistake,” Winfrey said. “Deciding, not to decide, that is most definitely a vote to let other people control your future. We all know what we’re voting against. So, I want to end by reminding you about a few things that we’re voting for. We are voting to defend and protect the Constitution of the United States.”

Winfrey emphasized in her conclusion that voting for Harris in the election was of utmost importance to protect abortion rights.
“We are voting for values. We are voting for values and integrity,” Winfrey said. “We are voting for the right to choose what happens to our own bodies.”
