Actor Michael Keaton told former President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk‘s supporters in a social media post that “they don’t really respect you.”
“For some of you folks, guys mostly, who are thinking of attending a rally with Musk and Trump… They don’t really respect you, they laugh at you behind your back, they think you’re stupid,” Keaton said in an Instagram video. “They don’t want to hang out with you. They have nothing in common with you. They’re not your bros.”
Keaton continued to slam the former president.
“When Trump years ago said, ‘I could shoot somebody on Fifth Avenue and they’d still vote for me,’ basically what he is saying is that these people are so dumb and so stupid they’d still vote for him. They have no respect for you,” he said, looking into the camera, adding, “Trust me.”
Hollywood actor Robert Davi, known for the films Goonies and Die Hard, responded to Keaton.
“Shame on him. Michael, you shouldn’t do that. You shouldn’t stifle people’s beliefs over something’s that is made up and false,” Davi said, debunking Keaton’s comments made about a joke Trump said at a 2016 rally in Iowa.
Davi added, “Your policies have destroyed America. That’s what it’s about: policies for America.”

“I like Michael Keaton as an actor. Sad,” a social media user said.
“Michael Keaton has been far-left and had TDS for years. This isn’t new. He’s a wealthy, out of touch Hollyweirdo who plays pretend for a living,” another person reacted.
Another person added on the X platform, “It’s a mystery why Hollywood celebs feel compelled to make such divisive political statements. And why do they always look like hostage videos?”
The Beetlejuice actor did another video on Tuesday for the Harris campaign from the “Kamala for PA” social media campaign.

“Western Pennsylvania: this is very, very important area for this election. Very important,” the Hollywood star said while wearing a Pittsburgh Steelers hat. “What I want to say: everyone under 40, really, or under 30… Everyone, you have the chance to be a hero here. You have a chance to really, really make the difference.”

The Batman actor admitted that he’s rich, so if Trump were to be reelected, “Chances are I will be OK,” but “the middle class isn’t going to be OK.”
Keaton’s latest film, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, recently made $434 million worldwide in box office sales.
