In his forthcoming book, Letters to Trump, former President Donald Trump claims such world leaders and celebrities as Queen Elizabeth II, Hillary Clinton, Clint Eastwood, Oprah Winfrey, and Michael Jackson “kissed my ass” before he became president.

However, the 2024 hopeful said half of the people who previously sought his adoration changed their tune in 2016. “I think they’re going to see a very fascinating life,” Trump told the far-right Breitbart News of his book. “I knew them all — and every one of them kissed my ass, and now I only have half of them kissing my ass.”

THREE ROADBLOCKS LOOMING OVER TRUMP’S 2024 PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN

The book has been promoted as including 150 private letters over the past 40 years from influential people writing Trump.

“My father has lived an amazing life and has been around some of the most interesting people in the world,” Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., told the far-right outlet. “It’s amazing how quickly their adoration of him changed when he ran for office as a Republican. Letters to Trump shows you exactly how they felt about him and how phony their newfound disdain truly is.”

In addition to the aforementioned leaders and celebrities, letters from former presidents Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama are also expected to be included. Correspondence with foreign leaders such as Chinese President Xi Jinping, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, and former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro is also expected to be brought to light.

As campaigning for the 2024 presidential election ramps up, Trump is facing many hurdles that other presidential candidates do not have, such as federal and state investigations into actions he took while he was president and misconduct within his personal life and business practices. He also faces a rising superstar in the Republican Party in Ron DeSantis, who, while not having officially declared a White House bid yet, is expected to be Trump’s top rival for the Republican nomination.
