It’s time to admit a harsh reality: Liberals, Democrats, and others on the Left have a fascist fetish. Anyone they don’t like or who runs counter to their political beliefs gets labeled a fascist, far right-wing extremist. It’s not just restricted to the United States; it’s a worldwide phenomenon. It’s also a tactic rooted in traditional communism and Marxism. None of it is true, of course. It’s just hyperbolic hysteria meant to try to scare people into supporting the Left. Such was the case with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
Throughout her rise to prominence, Meloni has rightfully called out the evils of the Left’s political ideals. As a result, she has been called a neo-Nazi, a fascist, a far-right extremist, a Benito Mussolini enthusiast, and every other possible name one could think of to demonize her. The communists, who comprise a large part of the global Left’s network, were threatened by Meloni, who championed ideas such as the nuclear family, marriage, and protecting the lives of the unborn. She repeatedly pointed out how the Left could be villainous and the actual threat to civilization.
Furthermore, she vociferously opposed the Left’s political tenets of suppressing dissenters, tearing down statues, Black Lives Matter, radical gender ideology, illegal immigration and a world without borders, irresponsible sexual behavior, and bogus claims of racism. Meloni was demonized because she threatened the Left’s global efforts, ideological expansion, and overall agenda. She proudly defended Western civilization and all of its magnificent accomplishments. She refused to surrender to the Left and fought back against its aggression. These virtues made her a threat to the Left, so the Left called her a fascist.
On March 1, President Joe Biden met with Meloni at the White House. It wasn’t the first time they met. Biden has never called her a Nazi. He has never warned she was a fascist. He didn’t even imply she was a sympathizer to MAGA Republicans. He treated her like she was any other head of state visiting the White House — not the fascist scum the Left and the media pretended she was. This means either Biden is a Nazi, fascist sympathizer who panders to far-right authoritarian extremists, or all the denigrations about Meloni were false. Take a wild guess as to which one is valid.

After being associated with every kind of fascist and Nazi imagery, visual, or reference possible, Meloni won her election in October 2022. Seventeen months later, there are no signs of the Fourth Reich. There has not been a resurrection of the values of Mussolini. There has never been the fascist threat the Left claimed there would be. None of it was remotely true or grounded in reality.
The Left hates anyone who challenges its ideologies. Leftists want to silence such people. That, and only that, is why Meloni was called a fascist.
