Secretary of State Antony Blinken will hold a news briefing in Tel Aviv as Israel enters the sixth day of the war with Hamas.

Blinken condemned the terrorist organization’s attack against Israel on Thursday morning alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“Your visit is another tangible example of America’s unequivocal support for Israel,” Netanyahu said to the secretary of state during a joint press conference.

Blinken is making multiple stops in the Middle East amid the deadly attacks sparked by Hamas this weekend. On Friday, Blinken will meet with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in the Jordanian capital Amman.
