Terrorist group’s attack on Israel is yet another Biden geopolitical failure

How many billions of dollars does President Joe Biden want to send to countries that support terrorist groups? It’s an important question that needs answering after Hamas’ attack on Israel on Saturday morning.
In recent months, Biden’s administration made two significant choices to give billions of dollars to countries that fund and support the terrorist group Hamas. And, in one instance, taxpayer money was still sent to a country even though the administration’s intelligence reports warned that sending such aid could be used to fund Hamas.

What’s next, a blank check from Biden to Hezbollah under the guise of promoting terrorist stability in the region? Will Biden propose funding an Al-Qaeda resurgence program in the Middle East? Will he announce a financial collaboration with ISIS?
Last month, President Joe Biden’s administration struck a deal with Iran to release $6 billion of frozen Iranian funds in exchange for the release of five American prisoners. Earlier today, during the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah, the Iranian-backed terrorist group Hamas launched a devastating attack on Israel, firing thousands of rockets and unleashing dozens of its fighters into the country. Hundreds were killed, and many more were reportedly wounded. After an inexplicable amount of time remaining silent on the Hamas attacks, a statement was finally released by the president’s administration earlier today, the Washington Examiner reported.
“The United States unequivocally condemns this appalling assault against Israel by Hamas terrorists from Gaza, and I made clear to Prime Minister Netanyahu that we stand ready to offer all appropriate means of support to the Government and people of Israel. Terrorism is never justified. Israel has a right to defend itself and its people,” the released statement from Biden read. “The United States warns against any other party hostile to Israel seeking advantage in this situation. My administration’s support for Israel’s security is rock solid and unwavering.”
However, Biden’s words and warnings have little, if any, impact on the rest of the world — especially Hamas and Iran. Neither of them takes Biden seriously. Furthermore, considering Biden’s decision to release to Iran, a country that harbors and funds radical Islamic jihadists and terrorists, billions of dollars, it can be legitimately argued that Biden’s deal enabled today’s attack by Hamas.
The Biden administration claimed that the $6 billion profits from Iranian oil sales to South Korea were to be used “only for humanitarian purposes.” However, Tehran openly defied the Biden administration. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi boasted that his country would spend the funds however the country saw fit and “wherever we need it,” NBC News reported in September. Raisi’s comments were indicative of the world community’s lack of respect and fear of the Biden administration and reflective of Biden’s weakness and incompetence on geopolitical matters.
“This money belongs to the Iranian people, the Iranian government, so the Islamic Republic of Iran will decide what to do with this money,” Raisi said during an interview in Sept., NBC News reported. “Humanitarian means whatever the Iranian people needs, so this money will be budgeted for those needs, and the needs of the Iranian people will be decided and determined by the Iranian government.”
As mentioned above, Iran wasn’t the only terrorist-harboring country that benefited from Biden’s charity. Biden sent millions of taxpayer money to aid Palestinians, even though internal reports suggested that such aid could be used to support Hamas, the Washington Free Beacon reported in August.

Essentially, Biden’s decision to send aid there indirectly could have funded terrorists.
From the disastrous Afghanistan troop withdrawal that led to the Taliban’s resurgence to today’s news of the Hamas attack, Biden has done everything possible to create instability and horror in the Middle East. These are all just the latest examples of Biden’s startling incompetence in geopolitical affairs and demonstrate why the country — and the world — needs new and different leadership.
