Much has been made of Joe Biden’s impact on the country. Republicans have mainly been very critical of the president. Conversely, Democrats have propped up Biden as doing an exceptional job, despite his many policy failures, rampant inflation, reckless spending, and penchant for spreading misinformation.

Based on a recent poll, the Democrats’ propaganda does not appear to be working.

HUNTER BIDEN INVESTIGATION: WHY THE DEVON ARCHER TESTIMONY IS SO IMPORTANT

Rasmussen Reports released a poll showing that 63% of voters believe the country is not headed down the right path. It isn’t exactly surprising, with nearly everything much more expensive than when Biden took office.

However, it’s indicative of the false sense of reality that Democrats have tried to create recently by pumping the supposed benefits of so-called “Bidenomics.” It’s a struggle that was oddly reinforced by none other than Vice President Kamala Harris, who stated last week that most couldn’t afford a $400 surprise expense.

“Most Americans are a $400 unexpected expense away from bankruptcy,” Harris declared. With an economic reality such as that, is it any wonder that 63% of people think the country is headed in the wrong direction? It was an absent-minded response from a vice president who has developed a reputation for such incompetence.

Rasmussen’s poll was in line with Biden’s approval rating from last month. While slightly better than this recent poll, only 44% of the country approved of the job the president was doing. It represented a one-point decrease from the previous month.

With only one day left in July, it would be hard to imagine Biden’s approval getting any better for this month, especially as gas prices have sharply increased recently.

The sentiments reflected in these polls do not bode well for the president. People are upset and unsatisfied, and if Biden’s vice president is warning of how dire the economic reality is for many people in the country, it could threaten Biden’s reelection chances.

Nevertheless, whether Biden is president or a GOP candidate defeats him in 2024, the most pressing issue is for the country’s people to have faith in it again.
