The Senate Homeland Security Committee is holding a hearing on the proposed deal between the PGA Tour and the Saudi backed-LIV Golf to make a joint golf entity after years of feuding between the two golf powers.
The hearing, titled “The PGA-LIV deal: Implications for the future of golf and Saudi Arabia’s influence in the United States,” is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

Several senators have expressed concerns over the merger between the U.S. golf tour and the upstart Saudi Arabian golf tour, with Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) saying last month that there is a “real risk” to the deal.
