Kash Patel proposes to country singer Alexis Wilkins

FBI Director Kash Patel is now engaged to country singer and longtime girlfriend Alexis Wilkins.

Wilkins posted a black and white photo with Patel, flashing the ring on her left hand with the caption: “Went and got the law involved 💍❤.” Patel reposted the photo, responding with a heart and diamond ring emoji.

The couple has been together since before Patel took his position as head of the FBI, and Wilkins attended his swearing-in in 2025.

Since taking office, Patel has faced heavy media scrutiny over his handling of the department and has been questioned during congressional hearings about his use of government aircraft, funded by taxpayer money, for personal trips with no apparent connection to official duties. House Democrats opened an investigation into Patel’s use of a government jet for personal trips, including an October 2025 flight to Pennsylvania to attend a wrestling event where Wilkins was performing, and are demanding he reimburse taxpayers.

FBI directors are required to use government aircraft, even for personal use, because of security and communication risks. However, if the flight is for personal use, they must reimburse the government for the cost of a commercial coach flight.

PATEL FENDS OFF QUESTIONS ABOUT HIS PERSONAL TRAVEL AND LEISURE

Patel’s now-fiancee has proved to be an ally to the Trump administration and performed at the Freedom 250 kickoff event in Washington in June.

The country singer is part of a defamation lawsuit against MS Now after the outlet reported that Patel ordered Wilkins’s security detail to take her friends home on various occasions. The FBI denied the allegation.
