Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton will speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference’s Ronald Reagan Dinner at 7:30 p.m.
The dinner, which serves as the conference’s premier event, has featured other high-profile Republican figures, including former Vice President Mike Pence, Kari Lake, and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.
CPAC TESTS CORNYN WITH OFFER OF SPEAKING SLOT
Paxton, a favorite of the MAGA movement, is currently campaigning against Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) for the Senate seat in a close runoff election. Cornyn has not made an appearance at CPAC despite the event taking place in his home state.
