Jimmy’s Famous Seafood is honoring the U.S.’s Olympic hockey teams with free food after their historic victories over Canada.

Both the U.S. men’s and women’s hockey teams bested their neighboring country in their respective games last week, with both teams winning 2-1 in overtime. The men’s hockey team marks the United States’s first victory in this sport since the 1980 Miracle on Ice, prompting congratulatory messages from President Donald Trump and others across the nation.

A Baltimore, Maryland, restaurant is joining in on the celebration by honoring both teams and their victories.

“For bringing home the gold and delivering an overwhelming sense of pride throughout America, we hereby grant FREE CRABCAKES FOR LIFE to all members of the 2026 USA Men’s & Women’s Olympic Ice Hockey Teams!” Jimmy’s Famous Seafood said on X. “This applies to both dine-in and shipping for all time. God Bless America! Johnny Hockey Forever!”

The restaurant went viral on Sunday when it knocked the Huffington Post for publishing a piece saying “you’re not alone” for feeling that chanting “U-S-A” or waving the U.S. flag is a turn-off, telling the outlet “go f*** yourself” on X. Many social media users have praised the restaurant’s response, with one even posting his flight itinerary to fly from Chicago to visit the restaurant.

The diner also dismissed the snow in Maryland on Monday, plowing its parking lot and shoveling its sidewalks. The restaurant said its happy-hour prices will be in place “open ‘til close in the bar” on Monday since “we’re still celebrating” Sunday’s victory.

The original Olympians were often given lifelong benefits after winning in the games, becoming heroes in their hometowns.

Athlete Jack Hughes, who scored the winning point 1:41 minutes into overtime, has gone viral on social media for sharing his love for the U.S. after the game, saying, “I love the USA, I love my teammates, it’s unbelievable.”

The U.S. left the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, Italy, with the second-most medals, earning 33, trailing Norway’s 41. The U.S. is also second to Norway with gold medals, with the former country taking home 12 from this year’s games and the latter 18.
