A 51-year-old California man was charged over an attack on acting U.S. Attorney Alina Habba’s office in New Jersey.

The FBI had put out a $25,000 bounty on Keith Lisa before his apprehension and charging on Saturday. In a post on X, Attorney General Pam Bondi thanked the FBI, U.S. Marshals Service, and Homeland Security Investigations for their work in apprehending the alleged assailant.

“No one will get away with threatening or intimidating our great US Attorneys or the destruction of their offices,” she said in a post on X.

According to a poster from the FBI, Lisa allegedly entered the Peter W. Rodino Federal Building in Newark with a bat on Wednesday. After being denied entry, he left and returned without the bat, going to Habba’s office and vandalizing it. A federal arrest warrant was issued the following day, charging him with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon in a Federal Facility and Depredation of Federal Property.

Habba was reportedly in her office when Lisa first showed up, but wasn’t harmed, the New York Post reported.

The poster warned the public that Lisa “Should be considered dangerous.”

“I will not be intimidated by radical lunatics for doing my job,” Habba said in a post on X on Thursday.

Habba said the incident was “frightening,” in a Saturday interview with Fox News, and presented the case as part of a pattern of threats against conservative figures.

“All we are doing is serving our country. All we are doing is fighting, and the Department of Justice is going to continue to fight for justice. It won’t deter us,” she said.
