The Trump administration has delivered on more promises in two months than any other president in history. At lightning speed, Americans have watched a vigorous push for peace across the globe, American hostages being returned home to their families, and the Trump administration’s unwavering commitment to peace through strength with indisputable transparency.
The Atlantic piece on the Trump administration’s communications regarding the recent strike against the Houthis gave CNN, MSNBC, and the fake news gang prime-time banter. However, it actually provided Americans with reassurance that the Trump administration’s foreign policy team is not only well-coordinated but also unparalleled in its capability.
Unlike the chaos and incompetence that plagued the previous administration, President Donald Trump’s team is laser-focused on protecting American interests and standing up to global threats. The president chose some of the most qualified officials ever to serve in the government, and they are working around the clock in lockstep to ensure that every decision is executed with precision and purpose.
Consider the stark contrast with the past four years under former President Joe Biden, who was asleep at the wheel while our adversaries exploited our allies and America. Biden removed the terrorist designation from the Iran-backed Houthis, a group that has since wreaked havoc in the Middle East. Under Biden, the Houthis were emboldened to fire on U.S. naval ships and disrupt commercial traffic through the Red Sea — a vital artery of global trade.
Due to the Biden administration’s failures, the Houthis have relentlessly targeted U.S. military and commercial interests. They launched 174 attacks on American warships and 145 on commercial vessels since 2023. The sheer incompetence of the Biden administration allowed the Houthis to carry out hundreds of attacks while it remained silent.
These assaults, which have spanned missile barrages, drone strikes, and ship seizures, have disrupted critical waterways such as the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, and Suez Canal, with no U.S.-flagged commercial ships safely transiting these routes in over a year. The Houthis’ campaign threatened not only American economic and national security but also regional allies — prompting decisive action under Trump’s leadership to restore freedom of navigation and show the world how the United States responds to assaults on its assets and military warships. The days of their unchecked aggression are over.
Trump and his national security team rightfully designated the Houthis as a Foreign Terrorist Organization and took strong leadership to do what the U.S. should do to any terrorist group that targets Americans: He fought back. Where Biden faltered, Trump has stepped up, proving that weakness invites chaos while strength restores order.
Yet, predictably, critics are more preoccupied with optics than outcomes.
Democrats spent their evening clutching their pearls over how the Trump team communicated, dedicating more airtime and responses to that than they ever gave to celebrating the decisive blows the Trump administration dealt to Houthi terrorists.
In response to the Atlantic story, the White House confirmed that no classified materials were mishandled. In fact, the White House Counsel’s Office has gone to great lengths to ensure that Trump’s top officials have secure, efficient platforms to collaborate. The manufactured outrage by the Left and lectures by Democrats are a distraction. After all, they are the party that invented bleachbit, alias emails, and unauthorized home servers used for classified communications.
TRUMP STANDS BY WALTZ AFTER HOUTHI GROUP CHAT LEAK
What matters most, and what the media has conveniently ignored, is the Trump administration’s results. The correspondence revealed that Trump’s team is unapologetic about protecting American interests. In the Atlantic‘s hit piece trying to embarrass them, they actually revealed to Americans the thoughtful, decisive, mission-focused leadership team that puts America first — just as the president promised. I can tell you, as a retired Green Beret who served as a military planner for 10 years, fast-moving coordination immediately prior to any operation is absolutely necessary. This was a successful precision military operation — period.
Thanks to the president’s strong leadership and the seamless coordination of his team, recent strikes against the Houthis were a resounding success. Terrorists were eliminated, threats were neutralized, and American interests were protected. That’s the story legacy media continues to utterly fail to cover.
