The House Department of Government Efficiency subcommittee is holding a hearing with PBS and NPR at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The hearing featuring NPR CEO Katherine Maher and PBS CEO Paula Kerger comes after DOGE subcommittee chairwoman Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) called on the two programming networks, which receive federal funding, to testify about their “blatantly ideological and partisan coverage.”

“Everything is at stake,” Kerger told the New York Times ahead of the hearing. “The future of a number of our stations across the country will be in jeopardy if this funding is not continued.”
