President Joe Biden was on the receiving end of a personal concert when South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol grabbed a microphone and serenaded his American counterpart at Wednesday’s White House state dinner.

As Biden addressed the room, he brought up the fact that Don McLean’s “American Pie” is one of his guest’s favorite songs.

“Yes, that’s true,” the 62-year-old Yoon said. “When I was going to school, it was one of my favorite songs.”

“Well, we wanted to hear you sing it,” Biden replied and handed the microphone over.

Yoon took the chance to make the people dance and crooned the song’s iconic first verse.

“I can’t remember if I cried / When I read about his widowed bride / But something touched me deep inside / The day the music died.”
