Taxpayer-funded NPR uncritically promotes mutilation for ‘transgender’ children

Establishment media have tarnished their own reputations to become the tools of left-wing activists and Democratic politicians. Nowhere is this corruption more insidious than when it comes to promoting transgenderism among and mutilation of children.
NPR is the best propaganda outlet that taxpayer money can buy. The outlet has joined in on the transgender craze, publishing a completely uncritical piece about “gender-affirming care” for children in Florida, one of the states that have wisely moved to ban it. “Gender-affirming care” is nothing more than chemical manipulation and surgical mutilation, and such procedures have permanent effects on children that can never be reversed.
‘GENDER-AFFIRMING CARE’ IS THE NEW LOBOTOMY
NPR hypes the idea of putting 13-year-old children on puberty blockers and hormone treatments and appeals to the credibility of corrupt institutions such as the American Academy of Pediatrics, which promotes transitioning children. For quotes to support these transitions, the outlet hands over its platform to doctors that directly profit off of pushing children into these procedures at “gender clinics” in the United States, which are similar to the ones that have been shut down in Europe as European countries worry about the consequences of child transitions.
NPR’s piece contains no concerns about the irreversible damage done by these procedures, which can render people sterile once they reach adulthood. There is no questioning the idea that children can consent to irreversible chemical and physical changes. The opposition to these procedures from Republicans is painted as nothing more than anti-science political posturing. NPR’s piece is indistinguishable from a press release from one of the gender clinics that promote these procedures.
This is the kind of content that NPR thinks taxpayer funding is “essential” for. It’s enough to make you shrug off the company laying off 10% of its workforce if it weren’t obvious that the outlet will want to make up its advertising shortfall with even more taxpayer funding, no matter how “indirect” it is.
“Journalists” in establishment media, including those at NPR, have sold their professional souls to help activists and politicians gain power, even if that power is used to promote permanently life-altering gender transitions for children. The media are the least-trusted institution in the country for a reason. And that trust will continue to decay in the coming years as it becomes clear just how much damage transgenderism has done to children while outlets like NPR happily, uncritically promoted it.
