Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken are holding a press briefing after meeting with officials from the Philippines.

The press conference also comes as the Pentagon is reeling from various classified documents being leaked online last week.

SCHUMER CALLS FOR ALL SENATORS TO BE BRIEFED ON LEAKED PENTAGON DOCUMENTS

The Pentagon is still trying to process the “scope and scale” of the leak that happened just before the Easter holiday weekend. The leaked documents detailed classified information about the war in Ukraine, along with information about U.S. spying on allies and intelligence regarding Israel and South Korea.

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has called for every senator to receive a classified briefing on the leaked Pentagon documents after expressing concerns about the sensitivity of the information leaked. The briefing will start at 3:15 p.m.
