The wife of late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel sounded the alarm for abortion rights on his show Monday night.

Jimmy’s wife, Molly, appeared to interrupt the talk show host to make a plea for voters to head to the polls in defense of abortion rights, saying, “Abortion rights are gone or in danger.”

“Tomorrow is Election Day,” Molly said. “Abortion rights are gone or in danger in 26 states, even though the majority of this country supports a woman’s right to choose.”

“Let me ask you something,” she continued. “Every time you have sex, is your intention to have a baby?”

Jimmy interjected, “No, I just wait until you eat a gummy and then try to snuggle in,” to which Molly replied she had directed the question to the audience.

Molly went on to argue that the burden for abortions rests on the challenges that raising children bring.

She noted that being a mother is the “best and hardest job” and that she strongly opposed “forcing any woman to take it against her will.”

Molly added: “I’m not asking you guys to love abortion, I’m asking you to love women enough, to trust women enough to make their own difficult decisions and to vote for the people who will make that happen.”
