The least important election of our lifetime

.

Every four years, our esteemed politicians and journalists inform us that “this is the most important election of our lifetime.” Every Democrat is a communist, and every Republican hates “democracy,” not the literal definition of the English word “democracy,” but rather the definition Democrats and journalists concoct in their bizarre fever dreams fueled by too much avocado toast and too many White Claws.

If you’re the type to buy this type of doomsday propaganda, first, I’d suggest spending time with family or finding a new hobby. At the very least, try to imagine the aftermath of the 2024 election, whether or not your preferred candidate emerges victorious.

For the first time since the 1892 election between former President Grover Cleveland and incumbent Benjamin Harrison, voters will have four years of evidence to judge President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump as to what they would do if given another term in the White House. Partisanship mixed with excessive social media use is a powerful combination, so most Americans will allow themselves to be convinced that one failed octogenarian president or another is the answer to what ails the nation. But if the past is prologue, both sides run a high risk of channeling former NFL coach Dennis Allen’s “they are who we thought they were.”

Biden has facilitated an unprecedented invasion of the southern border by illegal aliens. Unfortunately, Trump failed to stop the flow of migrants over the border despite illegal immigration being his chief concern on the 2016 campaign trail. The former president failed to build a wall and even offered amnesty to 1.8 million illegal immigrants to appease Democrats.

The Republican base is outraged at the $100 billion and counting the Biden administration has sent to Ukraine; the only problem is that Trump has no coherent thoughts on ending the war or even ending America’s involvement. The 45th president even claimed he would “send even more” resources to Ukraine than Biden. Trump didn’t bring American manufacturing back, and Biden didn’t cure cancer

The likeliest scenario is that we are in for more of the same. If Biden is reelected, the then-82-year-old will continue to hide in the White House or his home in Delaware as Congress keeps spending our currency into the abyss and the deep state preys upon the American people. The Federal Reserve more than likely will do everything in its power to prevent a recession artificially and protect its beloved Democrats, but it is unlikely that the Left’s anti-capitalist policies will allow for substantial economic growth.

If Trump prevails, he will be bogged down with constant legal and bureaucratic battles. Despite the efforts of rogue leftist prosecutors, none of Trump’s cases are likely to be settled before the election. Throw in a few more impeachments for crimes, real or imagined, and Trump’s schedule will likely be too busy to disrupt the swamp, even if he desires to do so.

All the deep state had to do to prevent Trump from ending wars in the Middle East was to float a few lies about “Russian bounties,” and instead of taking down the FBI, whose top priority is the persecution of Republicans, the 45th president has pledged to build it a “new and spectacular” headquarters in Washington.

If you’re a fan of lockdowns and medical tyranny, you’re in luck. This is the one area in which your two options are in complete agreement. Democrats have never seen oppression by a tyrannical state that they didn’t like, and Trump still has yet to accept any blame for the destruction caused by his empowerment of Anthony Fauci and Operation Warp Speed. 2024 will be exciting and undoubtedly hilarious at times, but there’s a good chance this goes down as the least important election of our lifetime.
