A recent op-ed by a U.S. Air Force Academy cadet claimed the focus on DEI as a freshman is leaving her and others “feeling more divided than ever.” As a minority woman, she is now questioning her own acceptance into the program by these briefs that are “categorizing people as oppressors and victims based on skin color.” We ask our panel if DEI is having the opposite effect on those who it is trying to uplift.
