The creator of Libs of TikTok is going after New York Attorney General Letitia James for holding a drag queen story hour. Now the Twitter account owner, Chaya Raichik, says she is offering her own story hour just down the street to give parents an alternative option.
The sold-out event being put on by James is specifically inviting families with children to join a number of other elected officials for the story hour, which will take place at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in New York City. In the event description, it lists the read-a-thon as “best suited for children up to age 12.”
James is currently leading an investigation into former president Donald Trump and his family for their business dealings.
Libs of TikTok became famous for anonymously posting liberal TikToks on Twitter, only just recently has Raichik come out as the face behind the account.

“Our tax dollars are being used by government officials to fund and promote sexualization of our children,” Libs of TikTok tweeted. “Protect your kids and come hear an important message at an event that’s actually family friendly.”
Raichik to host a competing story hour where she will read her own book, “No More Secrets: The Candy Cavern.” Her event flier even mirrors the design of the drag queen story hour. She will be joined by Brave Books CEO and author Trent Talbot to read “Fight for Freedom Island.” BRAVE Books is a conservative children’s book publisher creating books to “empower your children against woke culture.”
During the story time, Raichik also plans to host a talk for parents and children about how to spot predatory behavior.
