The EU is about to get splashed hard by a “red wave” during its parliamentary elections in June. Europeans would be wise to capitalize on this.
Amid countless national crises created by leftist globalists, recent years have seen populist, right-wing, and center-right factions soar in polls across the continent. Voter turnout is increasing, and with it, the conservative will of the people.
Portugal’s latest election is seen by many as an omen of what is coming for Europe more broadly. Normally one of its most left-wing nations, Portugal’s long reign under radical socialists was stopped in its tracks. They have conceded defeat to the center-right party and the young populist Chega party, the latter of which has quadrupled its parliamentary seats since the previous election in 2022. Both right-wing parties are now negotiating terms to form a coalition.
Another historically liberal nation, the Netherlands, has reached a similar situation. The conservative Party for Freedom more than doubled its parliamentary seats last year and firmly holds a solid third of popular support. This gives it nearly three times the support of the three runner-up liberal parties that have typically run the show. However, it has to make deals with smaller parties to form a right-wing coalition government.
Liberals should be shaking in their boots because these are only two recent victories, with many more on the way. The French nationalist party National Rally has dramatically risen above the ruling liberal Renaissance party in the polls. The right-wing Alternative for Germany seized a strong second place last year, and it largely retains that support. The populist Freedom Party of Austria rose to the top around the same time, and holds a six-point lead above the socialist party.
The largely leftist and center-left EU is poised to lose many seats to the Right in its parliamentary elections. Disagreements over the war in Ukraine keep centrists and conservatives hesitant to work together. However, this would be a fantastic opportunity for Europeans to finally work toward healing some of its self-inflicted wounds: the green agenda and mass migration.

The Right will by no means take over the EU this summer. However, all these polls and elections do prove one thing: the Right is on the rise. And the people are finally speaking up.
The EU oligarchs should be scared. The “red wave” may have receded for a while, but that just means it will hit them even harder.
