Los Angeles County found a new way to pander to a Democratic constituency.
The county designated the Connie Norman Transgender Empowerment Center in the Fairfax area as a voting center for early voting, Super Tuesday, and the November general election.
It’s a move that Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis supported, saying that people who identify as transgender deserve a safe space to vote.
“By providing a safe and affirming space for the transgender community to exercise their fundamental right to vote, we are breaking down barriers and ensuring every Californian has equal access to the ballot box,” she told Los Angeles Daily News.
Anyone can vote at the center, but a local CBS affiliate reports that “organizers will place an emphasis on serving a safe and empowering place for transgender, nonbinary and LGBTQA+ community members.”
California Democrats have decided they want to affirm the delusion that men can be women and vice versa. Since environmental factors contribute to cases of gender dysphoria and body dysmorphia, the government could actually help people by not promoting these harmful ideas.
Not only do the state’s laws promote gender dysphoria by making so-called gender identity a protected class, but the deep blue state decided to turn a blatantly partisan location into a voting center. Presumably, the Democrats did this to capture more votes since people who identify as LGBT primarily vote for them.
If the closest polling center to a non-progressive voter is a transgender empowerment center, that might dissuade them from voting because they might not feel comfortable going to such a place. Using municipal- and county-owned buildings as voting centers makes far more sense than using the hangout spot of a special interest group.
While this might be the first transgender-oriented voting place in the country, do not be surprised if Democrats nationwide copy this strategy.

Democrats have pushed to make election day into election season, so putting more voting centers in places primarily visited by liberals and leftists helps them politically. If people can swing by the transgender center and cast a ballot in the process, that benefits the Democratic Party. One has to wonder how much longer it will take until Democrats also start using other places frequented by Democrats, such as Planned Parenthood.
No groups of people deserve special treatment, especially those who identify as something they are not. They are simply people with false beliefs, not people in need of a “safe and affirming” voting center.
