How many millions has Kevin Morris spent bailing out Hunter Biden?

.

Hotshot Hollywood attorney Kevin Morris claims to have only known Hunter Biden since the end of 2019, when they met at a fundraiser for the latter’s father, but in that time, Morris has racked up quite the bill bailing out his newfound friend.

Bills of Biden’s paid by Morris have ranged from the desperate — divorce dues owed for Biden’s ex-wife, child support long overdue to Biden’s illegitimate daughter — to the decadent. In an arrangement that reportedly infuriates White House counsel, Morris has paid nearly a million dollars for the amateur Biden’s artwork.

But at long last, and after first flouting a congressional subpoena, the first son sat down for sworn testimony with the House Oversight Committee, and in a minor but telling exchange about the banalities of his overseas influence peddling, Biden revealed just how deep Morris’s pockets have proven as he bankrolls the former’s terrible decision-making, both in his personal and professional life.

While discussing Biden’s relationship with Jonathan Li, the investigators try to establish a very simple fact: whether Biden ever personally received money from the Chinese businessman. Although Biden initially said he hadn’t, the committee provided bank records proving that Li loaned Biden money against Biden’s equity stake in Li’s private equity firm, BHR Holdings. But interestingly enough, Biden never repaid the loan.

“What I’m telling you is that I sold my equity interest in BHR, and part of that arm’s length transaction is the assumption of the loan, and that is between Jonathan Li and the equity holder,” Biden said.

The “arm’s length” holder of that bag? None other than Kevin Morris.

Per the admission of both Morris and Biden, Morris has spent some $6.5 million in direct payments on Biden’s behalf. It is only because of Morris’s payment of Biden’s back taxes that the latter was even considered in good enough standing with the IRS to negotiate the Justice Department’s attempted sweetheart plea deal to keep him out of prison.

But does that $6.5 million tally include another quarter million paid to Li? Biden apparently tried not to count either the loan or its repayment as a material transaction when held in his name, so why would he add it to the ledger of liabilities taken out by Morris on Biden’s behalf? Furthermore, how distant could Biden possibly be from his former Chinese business dealings when Morris has still maintained his 10% stake in BHR?

The timeline of this odd couple’s relationship renders the whole dynamic even weirder. Morris and Biden met in December 2019. By February 2020, Morris was not just loaning Biden money, but preparing his tax payments firsthand. And in his reasoning to accountants, Morris doesn’t exactly hide the ball.

“Still need to file Monday,” Morris emailed in one exchange. “We are under considerable risk personally and politically to get the returns in.”

It’s clear enough that $6.5 million is the floor, not the ceiling, of what Morris has paid in his pursuit to keep Joe Biden in the White House and his friend Hunter Biden out of prison.
