The Democratic Party has a problem with relying on antisemites to win elections in Michigan, and that problem is clear to President Joe Biden and other party leaders.
Ever since Hamas terrorists invaded Israel on Oct. 7 last year, massacred 1,200 civilians, and took dozens of hostages, much energy has been spent by politicians and activists warning Biden that he is risking losing voters in Michigan. This is because Biden didn’t support a ceasefire starting on Oct. 8, meaning Hamas would be allowed to get away with its massacre without retaliation.
Even now, calls for a ceasefire are calls to allow Hamas to continue to survive and plan to slaughter more civilians because the people calling for it do not care whether or not Hamas continues its attacks. They only want Israel to stop firing, to accept any and all Hamas attacks against Israeli civilians as legitimate, and to be erased from the map “from the river to the sea.”
Democratic politicians and operatives in Michigan are still complaining that Biden is too sympathetic to dead Jews and isn’t pandering enough to the genocidal terrorists running Gaza, with one strategist saying, “Every day, as violence in Gaza continues, getting those voters back becomes more of a challenge for Biden.” The Democratic Party is fretting over losing the votes of terrorist sympathizers because those votes are part of their Michigan base.

Biden is keenly aware of this, which is why he is now stepping up his push to pressure Israel to stop fighting the terrorists who want to commit genocide against Israeli civilians. He has spent months now undermining moral support for Israel in hopes of winning back those terrorist sympathizers in Michigan, and that now includes allying with the antisemitic United Nations to try and pressure Israel to stand down completely.
It should go without saying how ludicrous this situation is. Were it Republicans pandering to terrorist sympathizers for votes in 2024, Biden would wander his way to a podium to stumble through a condemnation of “MAGA extremists.” Instead, Biden and his team are allowing themselves to be forced into pandering to terrorist sympathizers while pretending to be the moral arbiters of American politics.
