There have been a lot of outlandish claims of racism and bigotry committed by white people in recent years that ultimately were proven untrue. Immediately, one thinks of the Jussie Smollett, Bubba Wallace, and Covington Catholic cases in recent years. All were incidents that were initially reported as racial discrimination by white people; all were categorically false.
It seemed as if the DEI Democrat cultural overlords and their cohorts in the mainstream media tried anything possible to find incidents of racism, and when they couldn’t, they tried to make it up.
Well, apparently, it’s that time of year again, and the latest fad is false allegations against young white boys who allegedly were wearing “blackface” at sporting events. Such is the case of a middle school student from the extremely radical San Diego Unified School District. The student, referred to as J.A., wore eye black — the black stuff football players put underneath their eyes and on their faces — to a high school football game. A principal from the district saw J.A. and punished him for wearing “blackface.” He was suspended and banned from all school sporting events allegedly because of “an intent to harm.”
In response to J.A.’s unfair punishment, the Center for American Liberty, along with the Dhillon Law Group, “filed a complaint Tuesday on behalf of J.A., a middle school student, against San Diego Unified School District (“SDUSD”) officials,” according to a press release. Dhillon Law Group is a firm founded by legendary attorney Harmeet Dhillon.
“Without a speck of evidence to support his outlandish claims, J.A.’s principal found J.A. guilty of intentionally causing hate violence, a criminal act punishable by imprisonment in California courts,” Karin Sweigart, Dhillon Law Group Counsel, stated through a press release. “J.A. is guilty of nothing more than showing team spirit by wearing a well-known style of eye black, like hundreds of fans and professional athletes before him. The accusations against J.A. would be comical if they weren’t so hurtful and damaging to his future.”
The accusations against J.A. are eerily similar to an incident in December in which rabid left-wing acolytes tried to destroy a 9-year-old’s life because of a picture of him wearing face paint while attending a Kansas City Chiefs football game. Holden Armenta painted his face red and black to align with the Chief’s team colors. But because Armenta appeared white, a radical left-wing so-called journalist from Deadspin spread misinformation and accused the kid of being a racist who wore blackface to an NFL game. None of it was true.
But in reality, the only thing Armenta and J.A. were guilty of was being two young kids having a good time watching football games. According to witness reports, apparently, not one person was offended by J.A.’s face paint. Just like Armenta in Kansas City, his only sin was living in the racially-obsessed political landscape controlled by white, liberal, DEI Democrats.
“Not a single person said a thing that night, not one social media post, not the police, not the staff, and not the African American security guard who complimented him on his face paint,” Daniel Ameduri, J.A.’s father, said in a press release. “I spoke to many of the kids there that night, and one of the boys with my son that night was a black child. The boys didn’t even know what blackface was. An investigation was never conducted before they suspended my son, and the administrators assumed the worst and charged J.A. with a hate crime for being white at a football game.”

Fortunately, the Center for American Liberty had enough of this nonsense and took a stand. More people, groups, and organizations around the country should follow their lead.
This hypersensitivity and disgusting desire by the DEI Democrats to consistently try to find racism where none exists is a disturbing trend. It’s a constant witch hunt by people with questionable integrity who pledged allegiance to a flawed and radical political ideology. They continue to put innocent people in harm’s way. After yet another incident that turned out to be illegitimate, those making these claims should face strict and proper accountability.
