Another day, another racist, prejudiced, anti-white discriminatory message that doesn’t receive widespread condemnation. That is life in the era of “anti-racism” and the “tolerance and acceptance” of the 21st century.
Former NFL running back Rashard Mendenhall shared his disdain for white people commenting on professional football. The post was made on Monday on X, formerly known as Twitter, and is the kind of inflammatory, bigoted rhetoric that would cause national outrage had it been a white person who made it. It’s the kind of message that would cause white people to be reprimanded, be fired from their jobs, or face some other form of extreme societal scorn and scrutiny. But, because Mendenhall is black, his racist message faced no such consequences.
OATH OF OFFICE: DID BIDEN FULFILL HIS PROMISE TO RESTORE THE ECONOMY?
“I’m sick of average white guys commenting on football. Y’all not even good at football,” Mendenhall posted. “Can we please replace the Pro Bowl with an All-Black vs. All-White bowl so these cats can stop trying to teach me who’s good at football. I’m better than ur goat.”
This is racism. There is no other way to legitimately classify it. It seems that Mendenhall saw a person give a sports opinion and, instead of evaluating the merits of the content, all Mendenhall saw was the person’s skin color. He then decided those comments were invalid solely because of that person’s race. It’s textbook racism that would cause protests, demonstrations, disapproval from the NFL, and scathing comments from President Joe Biden and other Democrats had Mendenhall been white.
Furthermore, Mendenhall’s post is just the latest in a long string of racist, anti-white behavior that is allowed in society. Decades of liberal, Democrat, and left-wing societal brainwashing have made it acceptable to claim a desire for racial equality but actively promote and engage in discrimination, so long as the target of the bigotry is white people. Racism is largely permissible when people of European heritage are the victims. When this happens, social justice warriors conveniently go silent.
Anti-white racism and bigotry should face the same type of societal derision and punishment that other forms of racism receive. Racial equality and harmony are not as hard as the Left makes it. It’s not difficult to treat all people equally, with dignity and respect, regardless of skin color or ethnicity. But this will never occur as long as those on the Left continue to embrace hate and divisiveness.
