Will Biden debase America before China once again?

President Joe Biden is meeting in California with Chinese President Xi Jinping, and by all reports, Biden is desperate to smooth things over with the world’s leading communist. Biden is taking steps to minimize any protests against Xi and “to ensure Xi has a ‘pleasant visual’ as he moves from event to event.”
This whole setup should cause trepidation among every self-respecting American.

Biden has a long history of treating China gently, and it’s not a good history.
Go back to the summer of 2011, when Vice President Biden visited Vice President Xi. Biden spoke at Sichuan University and gave a rambling response about the United States’s mountain national debt. In this winding answer, Biden went on a tangent, saying, “Your policy has been one which I fully understand — I’m not second-guessing — of one child per family.”
China’s one-child policy prohibited Chinese parents from having the families they wanted. This is just about the most intrusive form of social engineering a government could undertake. China imposed its one-child policy through penalties and fines but also through forced sterilizations and forced abortions.
This was one of the most evil policies in place in the second half of the 20th century, and Biden flew to China and gratuitously gave it a thumbs-up.

Nobody was too surprised. Biden has always made flippant comments on serious topics, deviating from script, prudence, and even moral boundaries. Now, Biden is 12 years older than he was when he casually OK’d forced abortions, and his command of what comes out of his mouth is much worse.
Take Biden’s general logorrhea, his declining mental capacity, and his desire not to ruffle Xi, and you’ve got a recipe for the president of the U.S. saying something awful.
