Philadelphia’s Working Families Party wants to kick out all Republicans

It’s a scenario that more resembles the 20th-century Soviet Union’s Politburo than the inner workings of a functioning government in a city in the United States. At a time when Democrats dress themselves in theories about diversity, radical, extremist left-wingers in Philadelphia want to eradicate the city of its Republican representation. That’s the goal of incumbent Kendra Brooks and first-time candidate Nicholas O’Rourke. It’s been an integral part of their campaign platform since both declared their candidacies for the Philadelphia City Council At Large seats.

Brooks and O’Rourke are left-wing extremists. As a longtime city resident, I can attest that their politics are a contemporary American version of Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin, and Leon Trotsky. Their desire to eliminate political opposition and ideological diversity in government matches the ambitions of their left-wing political predecessors. They have no real platform or ideas, as evidenced by Brooks’s resume. She was elected in the 2022 election but has accomplished nothing while in office.

KEEP ISRAEL, UKRAINE, AND THE SOUTHERN BORDER SEPARATE

All one has to know about the Working Families Party candidates is their subscription to the radical and extremist policies that have decimated the city. At a time when there is rampant crime, corruption, poverty, and a dilapidating drug epidemic enabled by decades of Democratic power and policies, Brooks and O’Rourke are calling for more Democrats, not less. It’s a political catastrophe waiting to happen, akin to the Titanic asking for more icebergs instead of to be rescued.

The WFP may claim many benevolent things, but in reality, the WFP’s only objectives are to expand the power of the government and incrementally increase its authority and influence. Consider the group’s webpage, which specifies their stratagem for destruction.

“Pennsylvania Working Families Party is a grassroots political party that recruits, trains, and elects the next generation of progressive leaders to office. We are building the political home of the multi-racial working class,” the website reads. “The party has played an integral role in progressive victories across Pennsylvania including the elections of Summer Lee, Larry Krasner, and leading GOTV and voter protections efforts in Philadelphia and beyond in 2020.” The site also listed an accomplishment as ending “decades of Republican dominance of an at-large seat in the country’s fifth biggest city.”

And, as an example of the WFP’s negligence and overall incompetence, a phenomenon that plagues all socialist and communist organizations and governments, Philadelphia is actually the sixth largest city in the country, not the fifth. It is a minor detail but nevertheless indicative of the typical laziness and carelessness that is frequently a problem among socialist and communist governments.

Republicans haven’t influenced Philadelphia’s politics since before Elvis shook his hips for the first time. Still, this group has the gall to claim “decades of Republican dominance of an at-large seat.” Philadelphia’s at-large council seats were created solely so political minority parties would have some semblance of representation in Philadelphia’s government. Now, extremist Democrats want to take that away from them, too.

Furthermore, consider the WFP’s self-declared extremist ideals and accomplishments. At a time when Philadelphia was experiencing its worst violent crime wave since it was founded in 1682, the WWF proudly highlighted Larry Krasner’s election. Krasner is the rogue, left-wing, Soros-funded district attorney in the city who is known for keeping criminals out of jail and on the streets to terrorize and harm innocent people.

This is the legacy that the Working Families Party is proud of. It’s just one of many examples of the WFP’s atrocious policies and why, if anything, Philadelphia needs many more Republicans, not less of them.
