Swift’s presence seemed to confirm the rumors of a budding romance between the two as she was seated next to Kelce’s mother in a luxury suite, decked out in Chiefs gear.
But if Swift showing up at Kelce’s football games wasn’t enough of a media storm to shock the world, the news of their potential romance came on the heels of the debut of Kelce’s commercial for Pfizer promoting the COVID-19 vaccine. It was a pop and politics emotional overload that dominated social media commentary over the weekend — especially after multiple media outlets reported the two had a private romantic dinner after the game.

Furthermore, given their apparent romantic pairing, it’s fair to posit some of the dating activities of these two COVID-19 vaccine enthusiasts. Will Travis buy Taylor a Chiefs-themed mask to deal with the supposed resurgence of the virus? Will Swift bedazzle one and give it to her new beau? Will the two skip hand-in-hand through a flower field on their way to get their latest COVID-19 boosters? Additionally, Swift could appear on Kelce’s podcast, and in turn, the star football player could start in one of the singer’s music videos. In each scenario, both could virtue-signal the importance of vaccines that don’t prevent the contraction or spread of the coronavirus.
Swift has long been a voice for left-wing politics, especially on cultural topics. During the pandemic, she championed many of the pandemic’s restrictions and openly questioned and criticized those who defied the false promises and securities of COVID-19 restrictions supported by Democratic politicians. The fact that Kelce joined this bandwagon, with a suspected huge financial payout from Pfizer, left many with a sense of betrayal and resentment toward the athletic star.
Kelce and Swift could be the romantic pairing of vaccine enthusiasts everywhere. Imagine, if you will, grown adults shunning people who aren’t taking the recent rise in COVID-19 cases seriously while simultaneously running around in adoration of the new power couple, and like little school children, singing, “Taylor and Travis sitting in KC, V-A-C-C-I-N-A-T-I-N-G.” The only thing missing in all this would be Dr. Anthony Fauci presiding over the left-wing, vaccine-fueled marriage ceremony between the pop star and gridiron icon.
