Most voters think Biden is bad for economy

President Joe Biden has regularly touted his success in rebuilding the economy. Through Biden’s X account (formerly Twitter), his chief propagandist White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, Democrat politicians in Congress, or their accomplices in the mainstream media, the claim that Biden rebuilt what Trump destroyed has been a staple of the Biden administration’s messaging.
Despite these persuasion campaigns, most voters think Biden has been wrong for the economy, according to a recent poll.

According to Rasmussen Reports, 51% of “likely United States voters” gave Biden a “poor” rating on “handling the economy. Additionally, 56% of voters think the economy has worsened since Biden was in office. With these results, it’s no wonder that Democrats and the Biden administration have implemented a propaganda campaign to pump up “Bidenomics” recently.
Perhaps one of the most important revelations about the Rasmussen poll was the sentiments of unaffiliated voters — people who do not consider themselves Republicans or Democrats. The poll showed that 62% of unaffiliated voters felt that “the economy has gotten worse in the past year.”
It’s one thing for Republicans to feel this way. By and large, most of them would be against Biden no matter what. However, if unaffiliated voters felt this way, the “Bidenomics” political marketing campaign hasn’t worked.
It could spell doom for Biden in next year’s presidential election.
While the country is still over a year away from going to the polls, Rasmussen revealed that 93% of voters feel that economic issues will be important in the election, “including 71% who expect the economy to be very important.” This is why Biden has championed himself as an economy guru and claimed responsibility for low unemployment and job creation.

Little of this is true, of course, as most of the “jobs created” by Biden were merely companies that rehired people after the pandemic. But, being the political veteran of nearly half a century in the nation’s capital, Biden knows that “perception is reality.”
However, most voters seem to live in reality instead of the illusion that Biden and Democrats have tried to create.
