Democratic politicians are trying to convince you that “Woke 1 was crazy,” as if that cultural movement is dead and buried. But you can already see the resurgence of woke as it becomes clear that Democrats will regain national political power in the 2026 midterm elections.
The clearest sign that “Woke 2” is about to be upon us is the struggle session that singer Ed Sheeran is currently being put through by a mob of internet activists. This all stems from a controversy involving Sheeran’s opening act, Macklemore, a rapper and known antisemite who used Sheeran’s shows to spread Palestinian terrorist propaganda about the nonexistent genocide in Gaza. Macklemore was removed from the tour after a condemnation by Gillette Stadium owner Robert Kraft, a decision that Sheeran insists was made by the tour promoters, not him.

As a result, Sheeran has been hounded by activists for days now, forced into groveling, tearful apologies where he acknowledges the fake genocide and shamed by everyone, up to Democratic politicians, such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and liberal media outlets feeding the controversy.
Sheeran isn’t the only one to be targeted by the perpetually offended woke mob. Converse was cowed into an apology for an advertisement that neurotic left-wing activists claimed was racist because the lighting on a dress made them think of the Ku Klux Klan. Again, this delusional outrage mob was fed by a Democratic member of Congress, Louisiana Rep. Troy Carter, who claimed the ad was promoting lynching and demanded that people at Converse lose their jobs over it.

ED SHEERAN RESPONDS TO BACKLASH OVER MACKLEMORE REMOVAL: ‘I AM NOT COMPLICIT’
This is only going to grow worse if Democrats win the House and Senate in November, as they are projected to do. Democratic politicians are already emboldened to harass singers and shoe companies for not adhering to their approved narratives or offending their sensibilities. Liberal media outlets are already reviving old fights, as evidenced by the attempts to make Colin Kaepernick a national story once again. Add in an obsession with spreading Palestinian terrorist propaganda, and you have a movement just as destructive as the previous Woke 1 that Ocasio-Cortez wants you to forget.
Sheeran and Converse may be the first targets, but they are just the warm-up. Just as Democrats did in 2020 when they sensed impending electoral victories, they are going to impose all of their cultural beliefs on every celebrity, corporation, and element of society that they feel they can overwhelm. The cultural pendulum is going to swing alongside the political one in November. For the next two years, you will see Democrats try to browbeat society into adopting all of their positions under threat of politician-led harassment, as we are already beginning to see now.
