Former Obama staffer implies Trump is to blame for anti-Trump assassins trying to murder him

.

Many have claimed that liberals and Democrats are not grounded in reality. Others have opined that leftists are delusional fanatics who are unhinged in their ideological beliefs. Such presumptions could be reinforced by the multiple studies that show a higher prevalence of mental health deficiencies among liberals, Democrats, and others on the Left, compared to conservatives and Republicans. Judging by many of the recent comments made by left-wingers after the latest assassination plot by liberals and Democrats, it would be hard to argue against such categorizations that people on the Left are mentally unwell as they bizarrely blame the president for people trying to murder him.

Consider the words of Jon Favreau, the former Obama administration speechwriter. A current podcast host, Favreau was one of those on the Left who had the audacity to imply that President Donald Trump is to blame for anti-Trump assassins trying to murder him. He said that — despite multiple assassination plots against Trump, the brutal murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, agitators and demonstrators throwing Molotov cocktails and using automobiles as weapons to try to kill law enforcement officers, and numerous other examples of political violence and inflammatory rhetoric — it is actually Trump who is the problem.

“Are we really gonna go through another cycle where MAGA folks point out incendiary rhetoric on the left without ever acknowledging that some of the most violent and incendiary rhetoric in America comes from the President and his supporters?” Favreau asked in a post on his X account. “Do you not think the rest of the country has eyes and ears?”

“It’s truly awful that President Trump has been the target of political violence,” Favreau added. “It’s also truly awful how he’s frequently talked about his political opponents: accusing them of treason, amplifying calls for their execution, publicly celebrating their death, calling them scum, garbage, vermin, animals.”

Right. But as Favreau noted, the rest of the country has eyes and ears and what they have seen and heard over the last decade, since Trump has been in the political realm, is that Democratic congressmen, congresswomen, senators, staffers, vice presidents, presidents, and presidential candidates, have regularly, with enthusiasm and without any hesitation have called Trump, and his supporters, racists, fascists, Nazis, sexists, bigots, homophobes, Islamaphobes, Hitler disciples and acolytes, brown shirts, Gestapo, and any other disgraceful, demeaning, vilifying, and disparaging comment and insult one could fathom.

For Favreau and liberals and Democrats like him, the left-wing inflammatory rhetoric is permissible, while the sin is with Trump, who had the courage and bravery to start fighting back against (decades of) left-wing, liberal, Democratic vilifications and attacks. Favreau’s post is a microcosm of contemporary left-wing political thought and the arrogance it compromises. People such as Favreau believe it is allowable (and outright encouraged) to use “incendiary rhetoric” to demonize, harass, and bully Trump supporters and Republicans. It’s a different story for him, though, when the bullied stand up to the bullies.

Favreau and his ilk don’t like it when that happens, so much so that he used it to justify and rationalize attempted murder.

“I hate political violence,” Favreau added. “I hate what happened last night. Probably 99% of Americans agree. But let’s not insult everyone’s intelligence by pretending that the most powerful person in the world isn’t a huge part of the problem here.”

Poppycock. He only hates dealing with the negative consequences of left-wing political violence.

His words are pure nonsense and indicative of the pure decomposition of morality that exists on the Left. It exemplifies the ethical rot of today’s Democratic Party. It’s reflective of the dangers in today’s political climate that the Left created, embraced, and disingenuously ignored. It’s the reason why no one tried to assassinate former President Joe Biden or former Vice President Kamala Harris, whereas Charlie Kirk was murdered, and Trump has had to endure four attempts on his life. There is no conservative, Republican, or right-wing equivalent to the political violence of the Left.

JEANINE PIRRO TAKES ON THE YOUNG PUNKS

Everyone, regardless of political party, ideology, or beliefs, should condemn political violence or assassination attempts without any rationalizations, explanations, or justifications. It’s really easy to understand, accept, and say — unless, of course, you are a disingenuous political pundit like Jon Favreau or a fellow believer of his ideologies.

At this point, it seems abundantly clear that, not all, but many liberals, Democrats, and others on the Left have a political violence fetish. It’s duplicitous to assert otherwise. Recent years have unquestionably shown this. And, if there was ever any doubt, the voluminous collective silence and absence of disavowal by people on the Left, or the kinds of supercilious delusional rationalizations offered by people like Favreau, are further examples of it.
