Hollywood convened on Sunday night for its latest gathering of decadence and self-indulgence at the 68th annual Grammy Awards. Recognized throughout the entertainment industry as music’s biggest night, the annual awards show honors the music industry’s top performers over the last year. It’s tradition for those in the industry to get together and tell one another how great they are — and also use their enormous platforms to engage in left-wing idolatry and promote radical politics and ideology. This year’s show was no exception, as attendees blasted illegal immigration enforcement.
Remember Laken Riley, Rachel Morin, Jocelyn Nungaray, or any of the other numerous victims who illegal immigrants brutally murdered? That’s OK, neither did any of the musicians at the Grammys. Innocent American women die while Hollywood celebrities lie.
Riley and Morin were killed while jogging. Their murderers were allowed in the country because of the Biden administration’s policies. This means that if former President Joe Biden had not been elected, both Riley and Morin would likely be alive today.
Biden and Democratic leaders are primarily responsible for their murders, yet celebrities have not said or done anything.
Based on such inaction, it’s evident that their deaths, and the grief their families suffered due to the radical, illegal immigration ideology implemented by Democrats, did not deserve recognition, yesterday or at any Grammy show over the years. Not one celebrity has ever used their platform to recognize these innocent victims. But they sure do have a joyous time blasting the federal agency seeking to prevent such crimes and protect people from being murdered by illegal immigrants.
Numerous attendees used their time to criticize illegal immigration enforcement operations, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and President Donald Trump. Some musicians and entertainers, such as Justin Bieber and others I had never heard of, wore pins that read “ICE OUT.” Some, such as Super Bowl halftime show performer Bad Bunny, blasted ICE and illegal immigrant enforcement operations during their award acceptance speeches.
“Before I say thanks to God, I’m going to say, ‘ICE out,’” Bad Bunny said during his acceptance speech. “We’re not savage. We’re not animals. We’re not aliens. We are humans, and we are Americans.”
Tell that to Nungaray’s parents.
Consider the words of the best new artist award winner, Olivia Dean.
“I’m up here as a granddaughter of an immigrant,” she said during her acceptance speech. “I wouldn’t be here — I’m a product of bravery, and I think those people need to be celebrated. So ya, we’re nothing without each other.”
I am the grandchild of immigrants, too. Mine came here legally, and I still find government operations to remove illegal immigrants, including violent criminal murderers, appealing and satisfactory.
Consider singer Billie Eilish’s remarks.
“It’s just really hard to know what to say and what to do right now, and I just, I feel really hopeful in this room,” she said. “And I feel like we just need to keep fighting and speaking up and protesting, and our voices really do matter, and the people matter.”
Explain that to the family of Kayla Hamilton, an autistic 20-year-old who was raped and murdered by an illegal immigrant in 2022.
Musicians and other Hollywood celebrities are not interested in facts or the truth. They only want to parrot radical illegal immigration ideology. Their approach is formulaic: express outrage and ignore the fatalities suffered as a result of their agenda.
DEMOCRATS’ IMMIGRATION POLICIES HAVE CAUSED MUCH MORE DEATH AND VIOLENCE THAN ICE
Trevor Noah, former host of The Daily Show and allegedly a comedian, was the emcee of the evening. The Democratic National Committee might as well have commissioned his appearance, for all of his remarks, commentary, and so-called jokes were little more than parroted DNC talking points. The three-hour show, which aired on legacy network CBS, could legitimately be described as political propaganda meant to persuade and influence the minds and opinions of millions of Americans masquerading as a music awards show.
If celebrities cared as much about protecting the people who buy their products and put money in their bank accounts as they do about the welfare of illegal immigrants, what a wonderful country it would be. The next time you hear a song by Eilish or see Bad Bunny perform at the Super Bowl, remember the innocent women who were brutally killed while they are promoting the radical illegal immigration agenda.
