The Left, including the groups funding and organizing the country’s nationwide protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement, is up in arms over illegal immigration enforcement operations, particularly those in the United States. And they will try to make you believe that their anger stems from the deaths of left-wing demonstrators Renee Good and Alex Pretti at the hands of federal law enforcement.
Still, the truth is Democrats were angry and outraged even before those incidents happened. Their rage and subsequent disorderly and illegal behavior have to do with wanting to defy federal illegal immigration law and prohibit its enforcement.
To influence public opinion and persuade the masses, they misrepresent their intentions, falsely claiming they are protesting to protect people and ensure the sanctity of human life. However, history has shown that this so-called empathy is largely embellished, as Democrats have shared no such concern when it comes to the lives of Laken Riley, Sarah Root, Rachel Morin, Jocelyn Nungaray, or any of the countless other victims of violent crimes committed by illegal immigrants. When these innocent victims were brutally murdered for doing absolutely nothing, as opposed to wantonly impeding law enforcement operations, the protesters were nowhere to be found.
Pretti’s death is the latest product of the left-wing outrage machine dominating American political discussion. Many have said the situation was avoidable and highlighted Pretti’s benevolent qualities, including his role as a nurse. Interestingly enough, so too was Riley. However, her benevolence, altruistic pursuits, accomplishments, dreams, and life did not matter. It is the blatant disregard for Riley’s life, and the lives of others killed by illegal immigrants — a primary reason for the need for federal illegal immigration enforcement — that reveals the hypocrisy of the Left’s claims and the deception behind its performative outrage.
The Left does not care about protecting illegal immigrants from ICE officers, the Department of Homeland Security, or Border Patrol. It only cares about preserving the existence of illegal immigration in the U.S. Democrats will purposely and willingly impede a law enforcement operation to remove a criminal illegal immigrant solely because they do not want to legitimize the accomplishments and success of those agencies. Suffice it to say, they would rather an innocent person be harmed by an illegal immigrant than have ICE remove said immigrant from society.
The public is being led to believe that these demonstrations and protests are peaceful and organic. Neither of these is true. The protests are being funded, organized, and carried out by various radical left-wing groups. Sure, some true-believers and supporters will join them in the demonstrations, but by and large, these are performative stunts to get media attention.
They are there to create the perception that a significant portion of the population is angry and upset about current federal illegal immigration enforcement, which may be true, and as a result, are engaging in spontaneous protests and demonstrations, which is not true, to voice their displeasure and express their anger. But, much like their supposed affinity for protecting people and saving lives, all of it is a facade.
Riley was an innocent woman. She was a 22-year-old nursing student who went out for a morning jog. Morin was a 37-year-old mother of five who also jogged on a trail in August 2023. Mollie Tibbetts was a 20-year-old college student in Iowa who went for a jog in the morning on July 18, 2018. Kayla Hamilton was a 20-year-old autistic woman who was brutally killed in July 2022.

There are many names — too many names.
None, absolutely none of them, are ever spoken by Democrats. None had protests or demonstrations objecting to the government’s negligence that allowed their illegal immigrant murders to come to the U.S. The next time one sees or hears a protest about ICE, DHS, or any other federal law enforcement agency seeking to protect the lives of innocent people like those mentioned above, remember those who are the real victims in all of this — the Rileys, Nungarays, Tibbetts, and other women who went for a jog and never came back. Not those who went to disrupt federal law enforcement operations.
