With 978 antisemitic incidents in New York City since Zohran Mamdani launched his campaign for Mayor, Rep. Randy Fine (R-FL) warned the Washington Examiner of what will happen when the Islamic jihadist and self-proclaimed socialist assumes office in January.
“All hell is going to break loose if he gets elected,” Fine stated.
RANDY FINE PUSHES LEGISLATION ON ANTISEMITISM IN HIGHER EDUCATION
“The goal was never to integrate, it is to conquer. The barbarians are no longer in the gates they are now inside. We see it in Minneapolis and other places. Americans now have to decide if they want to be an Islamic Caliphate or the United States of America,” Fine (R-FL) added, citing the effect Mamdani’s rhetoric has had on other radicals looking to infiltrate city halls.
Fine’s comments came just one day after an elderly Jewish man was violently attacked in broad daylight in New York City. Although the suspect remains at large, many — including Rep. Fine — argue that such violence is encouraged by the hateful rhetoric spread by Mamdani. They warn the assault is a grim preview of what awaits a city whose leaders have grown too lenient on crime and too tolerant of antisemitism.
“That wouldn’t happen in Florida, especially not after the law that I have passed. Under Fine’s legislation, anyone who assaults a Jew in Florida would be prosecuted to the full extent of the law,” Fine added. “In New York, Mamdani would probably throw his arm around him and take a picture with him.”
Mamdani’s actions have been largely facilitated by the silence coming from Jewish members of his own party, like Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), who refuse to condemn his hatred.
“They are more worried about their political careers than they are about doing the right thing,” Fine told the Washington Examiner. “I think he’d try. I don’t know if the NYPD would go along with it. I think if he were to do that, he’d be arrested himself, but Muslim terrorists don’t really follow the law anyway.”
Fine then called out Mamdani for his bluff, stating that his defense of referring to critics as “Islamophobes” when called an antisemite has never been substantial.
“If Islamophobia were so widespread, he wouldn’t have to make up a story about a fake aunt with a scarf and a fake Islamophobia story,” Fine stated.
Moreover, Fine told the Washington Examiner that he finds it alarming but not surprising that Jewish elected officials like Sens. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) and Chuck Schumer (D-NY) have remained silent over the radical jihadist movement that has consumed the Democratic Party.
However, Fine is even more worried about what could happen to law enforcement, which is the only thing that protects the city’s Jewish community at the moment. Mamdani has previously stated he wants to defund the police, has called them pigs, and suggested they should be replaced with physically inept social workers when responding to high-stress calls.
“He can pick the person in charge, and he would affect their funding,” Fine stated.
Mamdani has even talked about arresting high-ranking Israeli officials if they were to appear in New York, including the United Nations General Assembly headquarters in the city.
While that would be a highly illegal move and unlikely to have the support of the NYPD, Fine does believe Mamdani is capable of such a swift move.
“If he breaks the law, he will go to prison. He already needs to be deported for the lie he made to become a citizen. He should be deported back to his beloved Uganda.”
A MAYOR MAMDANI WILL FURTHER RADICALIZE THE LEFT
Fine then concluded the interview by suggesting that federal funds should be withheld from NYC in order to keep Mamdani’s time in office in check.
“Of course, and I hope they would,” Fine stated.
