Philly’s Soros-funded DA calls Trump a ‘fascist,’ grabs college student’s phone in unhinged rant

.

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner represents everything wrong with Democratic politicians. Since being elected in 2017, violent crime has skyrocketed in the city, with Philadelphia setting a record for homicides in 2021, and almost setting records in 2020 and 2022. Carjackings also hit record highs earlier this decade under Krasner’s watch. He’s a radical ideologue who implemented criminal justice policies that have repeatedly kept criminals out of jail and on the streets, making the city more dangerous for innocent Philadelphians.

However, his undemocratic and intolerable approach to dissent and opposing political views also raises red flags. Consider the district attorney’s interaction last month with Frank Scales, a 22-year-old Republican activist who opposed Krasner’s policies, which went viral in a video. During the exchange, Philadelphia’s DA appeared to grab Scales’s phone, which was being used to record the video. Then, later, called him “anti-American,” told him to go read Mein Kampf, and asked, “Were you not breastfed?”

These are the words and actions of an elected Democratic official who claimed that the acronym used for his job title, DA, stood for “democracy advocate.”

“Larry Krasner exhibited both verbal and physical aggression toward me,” Scales told me. “This type of schoolyard bullying is not surprising considering he has a history of malicious persecution.”

For Scales, this type of thing has been a recurring issue with the city’s district attorney.

“Krasner grabbed my phone, which was not welcome and may constitute a simple assault,” he added. “Krasner also violated our civil rights by not allowing us into his Townhall meeting at mother Bethel Church, which he hosted in his capacity as District Attorney. Specifically, his LGBTQ Advisor physically blocked us from entering and verbally threatened us. Interestingly, Krasner confirmed that he personally stopped us from entering his town hall in our exchange at the park. We are following up with law enforcement about the situation.”

The video is unquestionably shocking, but indicative of the sanctimony and arrogance of left-wing aristocrats like the Soros-funded district attorney. And, like many far-left elected officials plaguing our country today, Krasner obsessively refers to President Donald Trump as a fascist.

“Donald Trump is a fascist,” Krasner said to Scales at the beginning of the video.

“How is Donald Trump a fascist?” Scales asked in response.

“Frank, did I ask you to come over and bother me when I am sitting here drinking coffee in a park?” Krasner said in return. “Did I ask you to do that?”

Larry Krasner, public servant extraordinaire, man of the people, democracy advocate, cannot be bothered to communicate with the citizens he represents when drinking coffee. He should change his “democracy advocate” to “dishonest aristocrat.”

As Scales continued questioning Krasner, he eventually started shouting at Scales, calling him un-American.

“You’re un-American, Frank!” Krasner yelled as Scales was engaging in debate with an elected official, which, incidentally, is one of the most American things one can do.

“You’re un-American! You’re anti-American!”

“I’m a resident of the city who cares about public safety. Why are you calling me un-American?” Scales asked.

“Because you support people who support hate. You don’t understand what it means to be a fascist. What people like Adolf Hitler do, how spreading hate, which is something that frankly the people you admire do, gets us closer to that.”

Later in the interaction, Krasner grabbed Scales’s phone and nonchalantly dismissed doing so when Scales told him not to touch his camera.

“But Frank, I’ll tell you what,” he said as he grabbed Scales’ phone. “Frank, just keep lying,” Krasner said.

“Whoa, why are you touching my camera?” Scales said. “Don’t touch my camera.”

“Oh, my, I touched your camera,” Krasner responded sarcastically.

At another point during the exchange, Krasner suggested Scales “put down Mein Kampf and get up a real book on World War II.” Then, he made the remark about Scales not being breastfed.

PHILADELPHIA PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS PLAN RALLY CELEBRATING HAMAS’S ‘RAGE AND RESISTANCE’ ON OCT. 7

“If Larry Krasner is incapable of having a conversation with a constituent that has different political opinions, how could he possibly act as a fair and impartial prosecutor?” Scales told me. “Worse, he has a history of malicious prosecutions. If you are a Republican in Philadelphia, you and your family could possibly be targeted by Larry Krasner. We need to get this guy out of power so he stops hurting people.”

So, in Philadelphia, the city’s DA, democracy advocate, man of the people, proclaimed protector of people’s rights, showed he doesn’t tolerate speech and debate, the hallmarks of democracy, and feels it is permissible to physically grab other people’s property when he gets annoyed. It’s a toxic mentality prevalent in contemporary liberal politicians.
