Loudoun County teenagers and parents fight back against transgender authoritarianism

.

Loudoun County teenagers and their families are fighting back against the transgender authoritarianism of county Democrats, proving that the future is bright even in Democrat-leaning states such as Virginia.

Teenagers in Loudoun County are meeting voters at the polls to encourage them to support Loudoun County Public Schools board candidates who will ensure that boys’ locker rooms are for boys and girls’ locker rooms for girls. The teenagers are urging voters to support challengers to the incumbent school board members imposing transgender ideology on them, including April Chandler and Arben Istrefi, the latter of whom argued that “gender identity and gender expression” being “protected” is more important than boys and girls being protected in their own locker rooms.

LOUDOUN COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS IS DESPICABLE

This has led to major scandals in Loudoun County. In 2021, a male student who claimed to be a girl sexually assaulted a girl in a girls’ bathroom at a Loudoun County high school. It was then revealed that LCPS quietly transferred that boy to another school, where he sexually assaulted another girl.

More recently, a girl claiming to be a boy recorded boys with her phone in the boys’ locker room. Those boys expressed being uncomfortable changing in the same room as that girl (who, it must be stressed, was recording them). LCPS then launched a witch hunt against those boys through a Title IX investigation, hoping to paint them for the rest of their lives as sexual harassers because they did not want to be sexually harassed by a girl in the boys’ locker room.

A federal judge earlier this month blocked the suspension of one of those boys while his family’s lawsuit against LCPS moves forward, but LCPS is fighting to burden those students for life for the crime of opposing the board’s transgender dogma.

VIRGINIA PUBLIC SCHOOL TRANSGENDER CONTROVERSIES COULD SCRAMBLE GUBERNATORIAL RACE

This level of transgender authoritarianism does not have to come from statewide politicians. Virginia has had a Republican governor for the past four years. Instead, this attempt to make 99% of students uncomfortable to please a handful of gender-confused students is being imposed by school board Democrats, who have shown in both of the above cases that they have the power to destroy children’s lives.

That Loudoun parents and teenagers continue to fight against this in a Democratic county, even as a Democrat leads the race for governor that is fast approaching, shows that transgender authoritarianism has its limits. These children and parents are showing that this fight is worth continuing, because nothing matters more than protecting students from transgender-approved sexual harassment that Democratic politicians say must be tolerated.
