The Democratic Party’s violent rhetoric must end

.

The killing of two Catholic children on Wednesday in Minneapolis was not an isolated incident. It is part of a growing pattern of left-wing violence driven by hysterical Democratic Party rhetoric. If unhinged rhetoric continues, so will the killing.

Not one, but two assassins tried to kill President Donald Trump in 2024. Democrats, including Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA), who is running an undeclared White House bid, now use the attempted assassination as a punchline. In December that year, many on the Left celebrated Luigi Mangione’s cold-blooded killing of a health insurance executive.

The violence continued this year with the burning of Teslas to protest Elon Musk, which was celebrated by left-wing talk show hosts. Then, in May, an assassin killed two Israeli Embassy staffers outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, before an Egyptian migrant firebombed an Israel solidarity march in June. This was followed by the arrest of 10 left-wing activists who conspired to ambush Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Alvarado, Texas.

Now two children are dead and 17 others are injured after a man, encouraged to believe he was a woman, wrote “Kill Trump Now” on part of his weapon before firing indiscriminately into the Catholic school he had attended as a child.

Democrats and their media allies want you to believe this was the random act of a madman, but their desire to obscure key facts of the attack reveals their guilt. “This was a madman. He was an all-purpose hater,” Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) told MSNBC. “There’s no way to pin an ideology on this.”

That is a guilty lie. The killer wasn’t an all-purpose hater. Although he was, it seems, mad, ideology was part of his motive. His manifesto is filled with antisemitic language — “filthy Zionist Jews” — and hatred for Trump. He doesn’t speak ill of any other minorities or any Democrats.

The New York Times, which leads the Left’s propaganda media, headlined its story on the shooting, “Minneapolis Shooting Suspect Knew Her Target, but Motive Is a Mystery.” But is his motive really a mystery when the New York Times also reports that his manifesto included a sticker that “displays LGBTQ and transgender flags with a gun and the slogan ‘Defend Equality.’” Sounds like the killer got his gun and defended equality just as the sticker advised.

That sticker is not the only symbolism on the Left encouraging violence. Minnesota Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan likes to wear a shirt with the words, “Protect Trans Kids,” surrounding a knife. The same slogan can be seen on other Democratic Party activists with two swords with tips dipped or drenched in blood. What did Democrats think was going to happen with this imagery?

You can only call Trump and the Republican Party “Nazis” and “threats to democracy” so many times before your supporters start taking you seriously. According to a recent study from Rutgers University, 55% of all self-identifying “liberals” believe killing the president is a justifiable means of pursuing their political goals. One Democratic Party official told Axios earlier this year, “Our own base is telling us that what we’re doing is not good enough … [that] there needs to be blood to grab the attention of the press and the public.”

The Minneapolis shooter has delivered blood.

ANTI-CATHOLIC HATE IGNORED: MEDIA AND POLITICIANS SIDESTEP OBVIOUS MOTIVE IN MINNEAPOLIS MASSACRE

When leaders casually equate political opponents with Nazis, when slogans are wrapped around knives, and when activists believe that “blood” is the only way to command attention, rhetoric will manifest itself in action.

The media insist that these events are disconnected, that the perpetrators were merely “madmen,” but the pattern is undeniable. From attempted assassinations to bombings to mob attacks, each incident has been steeped in the same poisonous language that comes directly from Democratic elites and their allies.
