Will this Superman save Laken Riley or Rachel Morin?

.

Hollywood can never leave well enough alone. They always try to propagandize and weaponize the country’s cultural icons.

This is happening again with the latest cinematic iteration of the comic book character Superman. The movie’s writer and director, James Gunn, made the superhero a symbol for immigrants amid recent federal enforcement efforts in an interview promoting his film.

“I mean, Superman is the story of America,” Gunn said in an interview with the British publication the Times. “An immigrant that came from other places and populated the country, but for me, it is mostly a story that says basic human kindness is a value and is something we have lost.”

Do you know what else humanity has lost? The lives of Laken Riley and Rachel Morin.

Both were brutally murdered by people in the country illegally. Both were victims of that loss of human kindness that Gunn supposedly values so much. Both could have used a hero such as Superman to stop their villainous attackers. Both will undoubtedly be ignored in cinematic allegories involving illegal immigrants.

Why? Sanctimonious, agenda-driven artists such as Gunn aren’t interested in portraying reality and the truth. Instead, they would rather create a fictionalized utopia rife with literary symbolism to promote the values and beliefs they support.

Gunn admits as much in the interview when discussing the meaning behind the movie.

“Yes, it’s about politics,” Gunn said. “But on another level, it’s about morality.”

Not humanity’s morality, not just any morality, but the morality of Gunn and all the other left-wing ideologues in Hollywood.

Gunn will never have the desire or guts to include a scene in which illegal immigrants brutally murder innocent females. He would never have a titular hero rescuing innocent women, especially white women, from the perils of a contemptible, murderous illegal immigrant, especially a nonwhite illegal immigrant.

Unfortunately, women such as Riley and Morin have no moral or cinematic value to Gunn or other people like him in Hollywood. Despite their real-world occurrences, including those real-life scenarios in a summer blockbuster would be a monumental betrayal of the values they wish to impose on audiences.

And while most of the villains Superman faces off against in comic books are creatures with extraordinary powers and abilities, there is precedent in Superman lore of the hero rescuing people from iniquitous humans. As the author of the aforementioned Times article pointed out, “In the edition of Action Comics No. 987, Superman saves a group of undocumented workers from a violent racist.”

Not a violent illegal immigrant, but a violent racist. The Rileys and Morins of the world don’t get comic book representation. Their tragedies don’t align with the political agendas of comic book writers. They prefer the mythical “violent racist,” which, as any fair, objective, intelligent, and logical person can tell you, is the obsession of left-wing ideologues and acolytes.

Unfortunately, Gunn is part of this deceptive manipulation. And similar to all left-wing messengers, he tries to hide his indoctrination behind self-aggrandizing benevolence. Gunn scolds those who will not share his enthusiasm for his brainwashing session as being “jerks” who are “just not kind.”

“But it’s about human kindness, and obviously there will be jerks out there who are just not kind and will take it as offensive just because it is about kindness,” Gunn said. “But screw them.”

But it’s not about kindness, James. It’s about your attempts at brainwashing and indoctrination, and the arrogance with which you categorize anyone who sees through your charade.

Riley, Morin, and all the other victims of illegal immigrant crime deserve kindness from Gunn. Unfortunately, they will never receive it.
