California Democrats simply cannot take a hint, which is why the U.S. Department of Education has found California’s Department of Education and California Interscholastic Federation to be in violation of Title IX.
According to the Education Department, California has “actively” prevented the “equality of opportunity” for women and girls that is guaranteed by Title IX by “allowing males in girls’ sports and intimate spaces.” This stems from California’s Education Department and CIF continuing to allow male athletes in girls’ sports and locker rooms.
California knows it is in the wrong here. That is why CIF changed its policies for track championships, granting female athletes defeated by male athletes competing in their female competitions the same podium position and medal they would have received had the male athletes not competed. As an example, that led to Kira Gant Hatcher (a girl) winning first place in the state’s high school triple jump championships, sharing first place with A.B. Hernandez (a boy who has been misled to think he is a girl), despite Hernandez outjumping her.
You can also tell that California knows it is wrong because Gov. Gavin Newsom has himself acknowledged that letting male athletes compete in girls’ sports is “deeply unfair,” even as he defends, endorses, and celebrates it. In case you need yet another example that men have undeniable biological athletic advantages over women in basketball, volleyball, track, swim, weightlifting, and every other sport, we have the latest news from the world of soccer. The Switzerland Women’s National Team is preparing for a tournament, and so played a team of boys all under the age of 15 years old. The teenage boys won 7-1 against the best female soccer players the country has to offer.

This is not a surprise. The USWNT in 2015 (when they were the best in the world) lost to a U-15 boys team by a score of 5-2. Everyone with functioning eyes and a casual understanding of sports knows that boys and men have biological advantages over girls and women that make these sports unfair. Most people know that boys do not belong in girls’ locker rooms, let alone girls’ sports. California Democrats knowingly violated Title IX and pushed forward anyway.
Now the federal government is involved, as it should be. If California could take a hint, the state would change its policies so that girls’ sports are for girls. Instead, the state wants to fight both the federal government and basic biological science to continue forcing girls to accept boys on their teams and in their locker rooms. For the sake of those girls, California must lose.
