Although former President Joe Biden has said he only just found out about his stage 4 prostate cancer diagnosis that has metastasized to the bone, top oncologists and urologists, including Obamacare architect Zeke Emanuel, have said the tragically terminal disease has likely been ravaging Biden for years, if not a full decade. As a Christian and an American, I wish Biden a full and speedy recovery, an abundance of peace, and freedom from pain.
And, of course, I pray that Biden is blessed with far more support in his crusade against cancer than he and the rest of the Biden clan gave Kathleen Buhle when she fought her own battle against colon cancer.
Once upon a time, Buhle was a Biden. She was the wife of the former president’s son, Hunter Biden, and mother of his three eldest grandchildren. Despite serving as a faithful foot soldier to Joe Biden’s political operation, a stay-at-home mother to accommodate Hunter Biden’s overseas career of cashing in on the Biden family name, and raising three lovely heiresses to the dynasty, Buhle was quickly iced out by her father-in-law for the sin of divorcing Hunter when she discovered he was having an affair with Hallie Biden, the wife of Hunter Biden’s late brother, Beau Biden.
When the New York Post broke the news of the affair, Joe Biden swore the incestuous siblings-in-law had his and former first lady Jill Biden’s “full and complete support,” and that the family was “lucky that Hunter and Hallie found each other as they were putting their lives together again after such sadness.”
“They were lucky?” Buhle said in disbelief in her 2022 memoir. “Supported every step of the way? No mention of the family he’d left behind? As I drove home, the statement played over and over in my head. Why hadn’t [Hunter] at least warned us?”
Throughout the divorce, Hunter Biden would mock his estranged ex for, you know, using the name she had for a quarter century, shaming her into giving up the surname shared by her children and readopting her maiden name Buhle.
While Buhle was battling colon cancer in the years after her 2017 divorce, Hunter Biden spent the money he owed her in spousal support on prostitutes and drugs. By 2024, he owed her some $2 million in overdue alimony, legal fees, and interest, a bill revealed when he was charged with criminal tax fraud.
During all of this, Joe Biden and Jill Biden remained publicly and privately supportive of all of their son’s antics. Unlike President Donald Trump, who has made intentional shows of public support for his divorced daughter-in-law Vanessa Trump, going as far as to fete the new relationship between Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-wife and Tiger Woods, the Bidens have all but erased Buhle from their public image. Even when Buhle’s eldest daughter, Naomi Biden, held the first family wedding at the White House in nearly three decades, it was Jill Biden who starred in the glossy Vogue pictorial with the bride. According to Alex Thompson of Axios, Buhle’s friends were enraged on her behalf.
BIDEN’S CANCER DIAGNOSIS FUELS FRESH DOUBTS AND DISTRUST AMONG DEMOCRATS
Speaking of Thompson and his new bombshell book on Joe Biden’s Original Sin in concealing the sorry state of his health, Naomi Biden has expressed more outrage over the reporting of Thompson and co-author Jake Tapper than she ever did regarding the piss poor treatment of her mother by the rest of the Biden patriarchy.
While the electorate should rightly call for a thorough investigation into the truth of Joe Biden’s collapsing health and the conspiracy to conceal it from the rest of the country, we can all have empathy and prayers for the ailing octogenarian on a human level. For an old man’s sake, let us hope his family succeeds in supporting him where they failed in rallying around Buhle.
