Just over a month ago, we experienced a turning point in our nation’s history. On Nov. 5, the people spoke with one united voice to send President-elect Donald Trump back to the White House with a Republican House and Senate majority. Ever since that moment, America has experienced a lightning-quick turnaround.
A spirit of optimism and renewal has swept over our country, and this hope has already affected families, communities, and businesses. Just think about what has happened at home and abroad in the last month alone.
Days after the election, Trump demonstrated how the concept of “peace through strength” actually works. On Nov. 6, Hamas called for an “immediate end” to its war with Israel. Trump has also demanded Hamas “release the [American] hostages now” before Inauguration Day, or the terrorist group will have “all hell to pay.” Israel and Hezbollah likewise agreed to a ceasefire deal, and both Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin have “welcomed” Trump’s plan to end the Russia-Ukraine war. The Taliban has also indicated that they want to start a “new chapter” with the United States, China says it is ready for a “peaceful coexistence” with America, and Team Trump is preparing for “direct talks” with North Korea.
But Trump hasn’t stopped there. The announcement of additional tariffs on Mexico and Canada prompted immediate negotiations with their leadership. After initially imposing retaliatory tariffs, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum quickly realized her nation’s economic dependency on U.S. trade. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau flew to Mar-A-Lago to discuss future plans with Trump face-to-face, and countries in Southeast Asia are preparing for an economic shift of “factories fleeing” due to a 10% increase in tariffs on China.
After Sheinbaum realized that 30% of her economy is exports to America, she agreed to “stop migration through Mexico.” This will play a huge role in effectively closing the southern border and ending the illegal immigration crisis, which has plagued our country for the last four years. News that Trump would appoint Tom Homan as “border czar” has already shrunk migrant caravans by half and increased self-deportation as Homan lays out plans to target the drug crisis. Even the radical New York Mayor Eric Adams has ended incentives to illegal immigrants.
The economy has also reacted favorably to Trump’s return to the White House. As soon as the markets opened on Nov. 6, Wall Street soared to record highs, and it continues to surge with faith in the incoming president’s agenda. Bitcoin surpassed $100,000 for the first time ever this month, and the U.S. dollar has grown stronger. Consumption is on the upswing as everyday families are ready to be free from “Bidenflation.”
I say all this without even mentioning any of Trump’s all-star nominees and the team he is building around him, which includes the first female White House chief of staff, Susie Wiles; more than a dozen other “strong, intelligent women;” and other patriotic allies from a wide swath of industries, backgrounds, and perspectives.
The “art of the deal” is in full swing, and people are already the beneficiaries. In this last month alone, Trump has delivered more successes than the current administration has in the last four years, and he hasn’t even taken office yet. This is further proof that Trump’s policies are not just catchphrases or empty promises, but an ambitious agenda that will revitalize American confidence and respect from the rest of the world.

Trump’s return to the White House represents a rediscovery of America’s foundational principles. “We the people” are being prioritized once again in issues such as border security, energy independence, world peace through domestic strength, pro-American worker trade policies, and the opportunity of a restored American dream. This isn’t a right-wing agenda or a left-wing agenda — at the end of the day, this is simply an American agenda, and Trump is enacting commonsense solutions to the issues we face.
And just think: Trump has yet to return to the Oval Office, but people are counting the days to Jan. 20, 2025. Our nation has spoken, and we chose a future of success, prosperity, strength, and optimism once again.
